Green Maps around the World

Green Maps around the World

For 22 years now the Green Map organization has been working to create healthier and more sustainable world. Through the use of green maps around the world they have been able to identify natural living areas, as well as resources in various communities that could aid in natural living. This is made possible through the Mapmakers. These are individuals from all around the world who create Green Maps for their individual areas. They are a diverse group of people: different races, countries and careers all united by the desire to create a sustainable world.

Green Maps Movement has been able to spread across the world. It currently has 952 projects going on. To coordinate all of this activity there are Hubs. These are contact points between the Global headquarters and individual countries. The Hubs are comprised of experienced project leaders who assist individual Green Mapmakers through means like training and mentorship. There are currently nine active hubs these are in Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Latin America, China and Cuba.
